The ETHUSD technical analysis of the price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows ETHUSD, H4 is plunging under the 200-period moving average MA(200) after rebounding to four-week high two weeks ago. RSI indicator is in oversold zone. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below 1518.40. A level below this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 1702.19. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal high, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

An Ethereum whale liquidated for $106 million on Maker amid ETH slump. Will the ETHUSD price continue retreating?
Over the weekend an Ethereum whale liquidated for $106 million on MakerDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that allows users to lend and borrow cryptocurrencies without the need for intermediaries. The liquidation involved 67,570 ETH, triggering widespread panic selling. The negative sentiment prevails in crypto market on the back of deepening macroeconomic concerns spurred by trade tensions following tariff announcements by president Trump. After unveiling of reciprocal tariffs total cryptocurrency market capitalization shrank by approximately 8%, falling to $2.6 trillion. The news of an Ethereum whale liquidation is bearish for ETH price. At the same time, price declines are seen as bargain purchasing opportunities by some whales. There are reports that whales collectively accumulated 130,000 ETH last Thursday alone. A prominent whale wallet known as “7 Siblings” purchased 24,817 ETH at $1700. Bargain purchasing by whales is positive risk for ETH price.
