The technical analysis of the Qualcomm stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #S-QCOM, H4 is retracing up to test the 200-period moving average MA(200) after two tests of the MA(200). We believe the bearish momentum will resume after the price breaches below the lower bound of Donchian channel at 165.98. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 174.83. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high indicator , following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (174.83) without reaching the order (165.98), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Qualcomm stock closed lower despite announcing Samsung and others will use its revamped mobile phone chips for AI. Will the Qualcomm stock price continue retreating?
Qualcomm said on Monday it will be using a set of custom computing technology developed to power AI features for Microsoft's Windows in its computer chips for its mobile phone chips too. A group of ex-Apple engineers were hired in 2021 to help design laptop chips which went on sale this year. Qualcomm said Samsung Electronics, Asustek Computer and Xiaomi, among several others, will use the new chip. The company has also re-worked the parts of the chip, which is called the Snapdragon 8 Elite, to handle tasks such as generating images and text. Software developers will be offered special tools to tap into those parts of the chip. Revamping mobile chips by Qualcomm for AI is bullish for Qualcomm’s stock price. The stock closed 1.1% lower on the day despite the news.
